    got this razor a while back it's a Jos. Rodgers & Sons the point is a little different can anyone give me some info about it the scales are of Ivory. I am going to clean it up for use so any info would be welcome. I am more interested in the point I've seen them before but what would the be called it seems to be in between a French and a Barber any help would be helpful Thanks

    Oh ok, it really looked like an empire French razor from the angle. Cool razor though.

    I have one of those and I believe the VR stands for Victoria's Reign. To the best of my knowledge they could be either Wade & Butcher or Joseph Rodgers & Sons but I'm not positive about that. Maybe someone a lot more knowledgeable will chime in with more accurate info.

    BTW, mine is a very fine shaver................
