Chinese Razor
I pick this up a while back it appears to have Chinese writing on the tang and scales one of the scales was broken but the one with the writing is good just need a honey blond scale I wanted to know if any one can translate. It's not the same type letters like on the WADE & BUTCHER or JOSEPH RODGERS & SONS that I have seen in the past I am going to try and post pics if I can if not I will get it done tomorrow.[ATTACH]

It's possible that this is Kanji, which means it was for the Japanese market or a Japanese owner inscribed it.
Four Kanji can mean the owner's family name first, then the given name.
Kanji have two readings (IIRC) "ON'-Chinese and "KUN"-Japanese.
It's been a long time since I studied Kanji, so hopefully some forumite will be more helpful.
Good Luck !!
Bongo.

Thanked: 1I can't read the first character very well but the
second character meant "born/produce"
third character meant "ball shape item(usually precious)"
last character if I didn't read it wrong meant "orchid / flower"
With four characters together it could be a Japanese lady's name
