    That is seriously cool - sorry I can't help with any of your questions - I just wanted say how cool that is. I think that you don't have the matching brush because your 82 year old granddad had to get out of Dodge is... well, that's priceless .

    Nice looking scuttle and it comes preloaded with sentimental history, too cool!

    As far as the brush, you can always set up a search for a similar vintage brush on eBay and restore it. There is a lot of info on SRP about brush restoration and repair including how to replace the badger knot. Or, you can take a gamble and hit yard sales and flea markets in your area. Just remember your old pal WhiskerHarvest while you are perusing the wares!

    very delicate ceramic. i am remind of old dishes coming from Dresden when look at this.

    yes but i have a certain razor in mind which is still in the post from france then will need sanding/polishing then posting to mr miller so dont hold your breath
