Thanked: 3226Some holiday finds
Managed to save these from the floods in western Canada. Gave them a quick clean up today. All need the edges reset, minor chips. Looks like the that will be tomorrows job.

Thanked: 3226Thanks guys, working on the Genco right now. It is taking a long time on the 1k Nani to work out one last little nick but I want to make sure it is gone before moving up. It sure is cutting hairs though and I am am bettibg it will be a good shaver.
I don't know if it is the same all over North America but most places have little stock and what there is is over priced garbage. The shop owners are all saying there has been a run on straights the last year mostly to the younger crowd. Slim pickings in most places.

It is the same situation here in north Florida. From what I understand, the "going green" initiative has really increased the demand in straights. Even more so, the James Bond movie really made the idea of using a straight razor a cool thing to do. I read recently that straight razor sales increased anywhere from 50%-400% at some retailers after Skyfall came out. Goes to show how dangerous popculture is to a hobby
