Thanked: 522A W Wadsworth NOS Pathfinder pre 1937
Thought I would share a photo of my latest project. It's a pre 1937 A W WADSWORTH Pathfinder 11/16 blade that I got NOS.
I knew this was a special razor when it arrived. It had black plastic scales and the front scale was cracked at the pivot point. This happens to so many razor when bought sight unseen. Sad.
I am quite capable of rescaling a blade myself but for this one, I decided to send it to Max in Vegas. His pin jobs are second to none. We went with faux tortoise scales in Max's signature acrylic. I have a restoration with yellow tortoise acrylic by Max and it is also beautiful. Great choice because this razor now exudes beauty.
I have finished the edge with the Nani 12, Gokumyo 20 and Nakayama Maruichi. Just shaved and I am now sitting here "facerbating". Way great shave. I love it...............

Very nice! The scales are stunning! They almost look like a liquid.

Very nice, I think the blade looks perfect in those scales.
