Thanked: 3227Found new scales for CF Schwartz & Co razor
Some time back I found this razor http://straightrazorpalace.com/show-...igh-class.html with busted scales. I managed to find a JATCO razor with a junk blade for a donor set of faux tortoise scales. Honed her up and she is back in business. I left the JATCO logo on the scales not knowing how deep they were inset and whether I would be able to sand out the depression after.

Wow, Bob. 'Stunning blade. The scales look nice - like they belong to the razor.

I really like that High Class Bob. I have to agree with pinklather; the tortoise scales match that beautiful blade very nicely.

Thanked: 3227Thanks guys for the comments. The original JATCO blade was no slouch either except for missing a bit of the blade and a real pity too. Sometimes you get lucky in a franken razor match up.
