Meanings
Where on the site can I find the meanings and names attached to all the little symbols being used and what do 5 small yellow stars in a row mean?
Thank you one and all from a semi-luddite.

If you hover your mouse pointer over a symbol, you'll get a small yellow popup explaining just what the button is supposed to do.
Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.
To spit in Sightblinder’s eye on the Last Day

That I understand but I mean the 5 yellow stars to the left of the center gray area. It only appears here and there.

Ya know, someday I'm really going to read the fine print and take the blindfold off, smell the roses, have a stiff drink and stop kicking myself for idiocy. I tend to get impatient and not really look around what ever environment I'm in at the moment. Thanks again.

Me too! I find things all the time and then trying to figure how I missed that all this time.

Edit: Forgot to add this above. I don't know if this was part of you question, but here it is, just in case.

Dang! I did not know I could rate threads! One star is terrible!
Good call on the link to abbreviations, Howard! Handy to newbs!"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

While we are on the Subject, how does the progression from junior member, to member, to senior member work? Is it a time as forum member, number of posts or something else? I have been meaning to ask for a while and this thread seemed like an on one to pop it in.

Thanked: 983Sorry Ed, but your Henrys cat, and that's just the way it is for now! If I remember correctly, it has to do with post count...But I could well be wrong on that score!
