    Default Gallery Issue

When I try to access the pictures in both Dave Uthe's and Gregg's galleries, I receive the following error.
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/straight/public_html/components/com_zoom/www/galleryshow.php on line 372
I would like to check out their gear.

    Thank you,
    John

    John,

I'm not seeing a problem accessing either of those galleries (for viewing) at the moment. Is this a repeatable problem, or was it just a transient condition? If it's repeatable, is it only on a specific picture? Any other details you can provide will help figure out why you're having difficulty.

Oh... and as has been mentioned before, many non-viewing functions of the gallery are in disarray for the time being... and will eventually be addressed, time permitting.

Joe, I'm still having the issue. It's not off Dave's or Gregg's gallery in the main view, but in the 'Gear for Sale' subdirectory off the main. I can read Dave's in the main gallery area. Please take a look there and let me know if it works for you. I am trying to figure out if I've got a config issue. thx - John

Ahhh... now I see said the blind man. Ok, I get the same error. It's not a config issue for you. The problem is when we merged the forum and main site registration databases, some user's internal ID numbers had to be changed by the conversion script. That made the registration database work, but it broke many internal links to things like the gallery pictures, documents in the help files, etc. Unfortunately, by the time I knew of the problem, the damage was already done. Hence, I guess I have "job security" here at SRP for at least as long as it takes me to fix all of them, lol.

I'll manually edit the database to correct the linkages... that will fix the problem for these two galleries. I can tell you that David Uthe hasn't logged onto the site for over a year and didn't respond to emails several months ago, so I'd guess he's moved on and anything in his for-sale gallery is no longer of value. I don't have any info on Gregg's. In any case, I'll post when these two galleries are repaired.

    Yep. It's a repeatable problem.

From home page, clicked on Library -> User Gallery -> Member Gear for sale. David's & Gregg's appear to be the only broken ones.

You live here or something Joe?

I was trying to give you more diagnostics, but you beat me to it.

It seems like it sometimes, doesn't it.
