I think the idea of subforum by geographical area is a good one, i realise that some of the others are for convenience of language but also from another practical consideration things like retail outlets etc, I often see people from the US suggesting places like harbor freight or hobby lobby which don't help those of us outside the US. I appreciateciate that they are being helpful and.that the intention is good so I don't mean any disrespect in saying.it. have any mods given input either way yet?

I know I don't list a location, the app I use doesn't seem to allow me to edit my profile. I'll have to get it sorted at some point.
Is it much work to set up a sub forum?
If not could we not just open one and see what happens. Once up and running we can keep an eye out for new members and advise them where to go

The Moderators or developers would have to do that, and a moderator would be needed to monitor the forum.
You would have to talk to one of them and they will probably want to discuss it with the other Mod's.
Just maintaining an additional thread is added work for them,
don't take it personal if they do not feel there will be enough interest and or benefit to merit it.It is just Whisker Whacking

If you look on the main forum page the moderators are listed next to the sub forums they are over.
Pick one you feel comfortable talking to about it and shoot them a PM.It is just Whisker Whacking

I'll take a look and see what can be done. I didn't get a massive response to this thread but it'd take some time to gather everyone.
