There really seems to be not much in the classified section
Looking to find some new straight razors or a brush. There really are very few listed. Any great suggestions t find some good one at a good deal?
I am very appreciative of all the knowledge and sharing each and everyone has provided me with. Look forward to future endeavors with many of you.

Thanked: 2284I think everyone has a different idea of what a "deal" is. I can see at least four razors on the classifieds, that in my opinion, are deals. But that's just my opinion.
There's always deals to be had on ebay. You just need to know what exactly your looking for.
Antique stores are also full of deals but can be hit or miss. Usually razors from here will need to be restored.Last edited by HARRYWALLY; 11-26-2013 at 02:10 AM.

You can look into some of the vendors on the site that have on line stores such as Gemstar or Maximillian along with others found in the Member Services section. After that, simple internet searches will yield some good results. And how can we forget Ebay. You do need to tread lightly with Ebay as things are not always what them seem in this arena. Another great item to search is for shaving soaps as some very small companies around the country make some really fine soaps. For example, a business named Portland General Store (Maine) has some great handmade soaps and aftershaves. Do not pull the trigger on any item as prices do range - just like everywhere else. Always give a long look at vendors on our site before you move on as you will get a good and fair shake here on quality items. - Welcome and enjoy this part of the ride.

For 3 years I've found our classified section to be the # 1 shopping spot for equipment, especially razors. I check the classified section no less than 4 times a day; the deals on vintage, custom, restoration, NOS are constantly coming & going. The turnover rate is fast.
I don't think you've browsed the classified section long enough to really understand how it functions.
Keep your eye on it, the deals go fast.
