Default See when someone quotes me?

Pardon my ignorance but I have not found a way to see when someone have quoted me in a thread. I am used to having a menu with the option of seeing when I have gotten quoted in a thread so that it is easy to reply to that person. Like how you get notified when someone likes a post by you. Otherwise it just goes by unnoticed. Have I missed that function or isn't there one?
I know I get emails when someone have replied to a thread I have subscribed to but that is not quite the same.

There isn't one. I could look into adding something, but from what I can tell a lot of people find it very annoying.

The taptalk app for android will do this by default,
I only use taptalk on occasion but I have it installed so I do get the notifications when I have been quoted.
I do not know if that is an option for you or not but I thought I would throw it out here as it may help someone.

That is something that tapatalk does that just bookmarking the site on my phone doesn't then. Pher than that I heard it uses less data.
Is the format the same as the normal site?.

Gugi, it would be nice to be able to see who had thanked you and for what, Like you can do with likes.

No the format is different and I personally still prefer to browse the full sight even on my phone.
It is nice for some of the notifications but can also be a bit annoying.
Taptalk does use less data than browsing the full site but that is not something I worry about.

Despite the amount of time I spend here I use very little of my data allowance from my phone, watching vids is what kills it.

It just occured to me that if you get notifications of replies to threads that you are subscribed to, then admittedly you will have to look at the replies to see whether it's directed to you but you will know.
Obviously this.comes unstuck when you have a clean out and unsubscribe to threads that have died or have lost track of what they are supposed to be about.

I find the easiest way to do this is to click the new posts button when you log on and check the threads you've responded to. If you do this everyday and go back to the previous 24 hours worth of posts you won't miss any responses in your active threads.

We did have that feature a couple years ago but IIRC it went away when the latest version of vbulletin was installed.
