The expired and sold ads continue to be counted for some time. You just have to wait until the software stops counting them and then you can list again.

Just to explain the current state of the classifieds ......... The convenience of listing in the classifieds was originated for participating members to occasionally sell excess shaving stuff that they no longer used, or found that it wasn't their 'cup of tea.' It was never intended to be a bazaar such as Craigslist or ebay where sellers continually sell items. Some to the extent that it is as if it were an internet store.
So, having a few individuals go beyond the original intention of the site's vision the software has been programmed to set parameters around which permissions are active or become inactive when the participation isn't there, or when the volume of sales exceeds the limit. If the denial of selling capability is due to a lack of regular participation becoming an active member again will restore the permissions.
OTOH, if the denial is due to reaching the limit per member within a time frame it , as Ivan pointed out will eventually time out and permissions will be restored. It is all programmed into the classifieds software and is not something an individual moderator can override.Last edited by JimmyHAD; 12-15-2013 at 09:21 PM.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
