    Default E-Mail notifications query

    Hello Chaps, Currently I am receiving e-mails everytime someone replies to a thread I have posted on. I had thought that by selecting "Default Thread Subscription Mode"-"Through my control panel only" That I would be informed of replies in the control panel, however I am being inundated with messages to my e-mail account. Therefore I conclude that whatever I have done is incorrect so please anyone who knows better than I (that means everybody) advice would be much appreciated.

    Hey Steve, go to "settings" in the upper right corner of the screen. Scroll down the menu on the left to "general settings". Select "Default Thread Subscription Mode:" and in the drop down menu select "do not subscribe." That should fix it.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
