Not as far as I know. It used to work for me in forum posts but not for a long time. I know that it still works for some people. Might depend on your choice of browser ...... OS .... ? What I do is copy my text into an email in thunderbird and spell check there. Make corrections, copy it and paste it back in the SRP text box before I post. Not the most convenient workaround, but it'll have to do until whatever bug is fixed.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 603OS: Linux Mint 11 (Ubuntu-derived)
Browser: Firefox 28.0
Browser Preferences: (Note the last option in "Browsing")
Also, check your OS installation for the required dictionaries. Here's the command (and results) for mine:
horen@minteee ~ $ dpkg -l|grep spell
ii aspell 0.60.6-6 GNU Aspell spell-checker
ii aspell-en 6.0-0-6ubuntu1 English dictionary for GNU Aspell
ii dictionaries-common 1.9.3ubuntu1 Common utilities for spelling dictionary tools
ii hunspell-en-ca 1:3.3.0-2ubuntu2 English_canadian dictionary for hunspell
ii hunspell-en-us 20070829-4ubuntu1 English_american dictionary for hunspell
ii libaspell15 0.60.6-6 GNU Aspell spell-checker runtime library
ii libenchant1c2a 1.6.0-2 a wrapper library for various spell checker engines
ii libgtk2-spell-perl 1.03-5 Perl interface to the GtkSpell library
ii libgtkspell0 2.0.16-1 a spell-checking addon for GTK's TextView widget
ii libhunspell-1.2-0 1.2.14-4 spell checker and morphological analyzer (shared library)
ii myspell-en-au 2.1-5 English_australian dictionary for myspell
ii myspell-en-gb 1:3.3.0-2ubuntu2 English_british dictionary for myspell
ii myspell-en-za 1:3.3.0-2ubuntu2 English_southafrican dictionary for myspell

Yeah I don't know of a single operating system that doesn't have a spell check option. Of course, I find the spell check in Word the best as it has a grammar function too.

Thanked: 603My only other suggestion is SRP, itself -- Settings:General Settings:Miscellaneous Options
You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

If I spell something wrong it underlines it on my browser.
I right click on the word and it gives me the options to change...
