Not as far as I know. It used to work for me in forum posts but not for a long time. I know that it still works for some people. Might depend on your choice of browser ...... OS .... ? What I do is copy my text into an email in thunderbird and spell check there. Make corrections, copy it and paste it back in the SRP text box before I post. Not the most convenient workaround, but it'll have to do until whatever bug is fixed.

Also, check your OS installation for the required dictionaries. Here's the command (and results) for mine:

You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

Yeah I don't know of a single operating system that doesn't have a spell check option. Of course, I find the spell check in Word the best as it has a grammar function too.

That is enabled on my account ........ It is unimportant to me. As long as I have a viable workaround, and I do. The puzzling thing is that I have other v-bulletin forum accounts in which spell check does work.

Next step: See if spell-check works from a "test" account (new user, without any previous configuration -- browser or otherwise).

    • If spell-check works, it's a user-configuration issue

If I spell something wrong it underlines it on my browser.
I right click on the word and it gives me the options to change...

Safari browser has both also. Access via "Edit" menu.
Maybe other browsers do too ?
Don't think OS determines browser spell checks.
