How do I do a strike through(a line through selected portions of text) when I'm composing or editing text in the forum?

STRIKETHROUGH NOT WORKING not working on post edit for me. or maybe it's something else. testing

...hmmm... I don't get it. I tried it in another area of the forum while trying to edit a post of mine and no dice. What am I doing wrong?

Curious. Why would you need to do a strike-through?
