Rotating photos?!
Hello!
Everytime I import a photo it's rotated, and I've tried rotating the original before import, but that has done nothing!
Is there a way to rotate images once in the SRP uploader?
Thanks!

I too have experienced this issue. I have tried editing them to where they are upside down and see if once they upload will they be right side up to no avail. I have no clue what is going on. I thought maybe it was because I have a mac but I know in the past it has worked correctly with no editing required or anything so I really don't know what's going on.

My understanding is that this is MAINLY an Apple issue. Or it seems to be for me. My further understanding is that our site here simply takes the photo as it's delivered along with whatever orientation it currently has. As such they are often upside down or sideways. I suspect that when I'm making an edit to a pic on my iPhone or iPad that all I'm really doing is creating a list of edits to be applied upon opening the pic in question. The original continues to be the same. I've noticed this when edited pics are transferred between similar devices and I find that I have the option to "turn off" the edits that were done before the transfer.

You might be on to something there. I have not had that problem importing images from photobucket using the img tag.

+1 to blaming the iPhone for this, assuming that's what the OP is using, otherwise please ignore my rambling. When transfering pictures from an iPhone to a Mac, the pictures' orientation will be the correct one, but when transfering to a PC, they are inverted. The quick and easy fix: When taking landscape pictures with an iPhone, take them with the home button on your right, IOW with the sound control button towards the ground. This will also make it easier to hold the phone and reduce the quantity of your own fingers you get in pictures (the camera will now be in the top left corner of the phone rather than the bottom right).

Thanked: 2284This is the same with my Z10 BlackBerry. I upload photos all the time right from my phone. If I don't take the photos with the camera sideways, the photos will upload inverted.
