Oh wow, there's live chat here? (IRC)!!!
I've been using this site for more than a year now, and IRC for many years, but I just happened to click chat at the top and realized that it connected to IRC/Freenode.... what a great resource to have live chats with your fellow shavers!!!!

I've been here since 2007 and have never used it. Then again, I have no idea what IRC is.

Yes, though I'm not sure it is highly active at the moment. I think it ebbs and wanes. But I'm glad you've found it, and I hope it proves useful.

I use IRC all the time anyways, so I'll add #srp to my list and lurk there from now on

I'm going to put this in both my recent IRC threads, if you decide to stop by and say hello, please wait for more than two minutes.... there are people in the room ready to chat, but we don't just all sit watching our computer screens waiting for someone to say hello, come in say hello and give it up to an hour and come back, you'll have a great conversation started up

Is there "an app for that"?
I'm on a Galaxy s3 for almost all of my interwebzing. Tried the chat for kicks last night while I was at work. Loaded into the room... and could say hello, but nothing else happened after that. Even my own subsequent messages didn't show up.
So, is there an SRP approved app to access the chat channel?Decades away from full-beard growing abilities.

Yeah, there are a few..... check google for android irc .... the srp chatroom is just irc... once you start any irc program, just enter the #srp channel
