Back to the Nook…
I didn't have much use for the e-readers when they came out. I love to read non fiction, love books, and love the way they feel in my hand. I have a fair collection and several book shelves. I found over the years that I would have to take books down from the shelves and box them up as they were being neglected and make room for the latest. My wife showed interest in the Kindle when they came out so I ended up ordering us each one. I love it. I've got so many books on there and the thing is slimmer than a single copy of Machiavelii's The Prince. Last week we opted to try a free month of Kindle Unlimited and are going to stick with it. I read 3 books in the first 2 days and she went through 4. Definitely worth the $10 a month to us.
Now back to Klingons and Pluto.

I have books behind me on the shelf that I "own". I recently traded a manual for a 1998 dodge for a chainsaw part. I am sure it is just me and the generation I belong to but once I pay for it it should be mine and I shouldn't worry if the batteries might go dead.
