Thread: Banner Ads!

What is going on with the automatic banner ads. Frankly I have enough sites tracking me. They are also slow to load, and making the page load slower and somewhat erratic. I also resent having ads pop up in spite of my Pop Up Blocker.


I hope this is a very short term experiment?

Pretty sure the adds will not go away, dont think the adds here are considered as "Pop ups". If members were willing to dish out a yearly membership i imagine they could go away, and i really don't see that happening.JMHO

I don't have any pop up ads.

I was not talking about the normals ad here. As it turned out, I had a scareware virus piggyback onto my computer. My antivirus and malware did not catch it. Scareware is MUCH worse than adware. These guys are really good. It is very hard to find and remove. Sorry if there was some misunderstanding about my initial post. The regular banner ads help pay the bills!!!
