Thread: edit message function

Hello everybody,
can I edit a message only once?
I wanted to keep the first message of this:
http://straightrazorpalace.com/presh...-back-day.html updated as long as we get new replies, but seems the edit botton has disappeared. (I already edited the first message once)

no you can edit as many times as you want but only for 24 hrs or so, after that the message is locked.

This is correct.
The forum threads are meant to be discussions.
Things that have more permanent value and need updates should be in the Library.
