Razor Database help...
I've just acquired a Boker 5/8 Columbian Expo in original condition (pictured in 'What are you working on'). I've checked the razor database and there is no entry for this razor, so I'd like to submit it. Should I take photos of it in this condition for the database, or should I wait until I've restored it? It will still be in the original scales. The only change will obviously be new pins.

To be honest, I don't really know, seeing as I am not involved in the SR DB project. However, it seems to me the safest option is to take before and after pics. That way you're always safe. I'll ask the mentors to drop by here and give you a better answer.

Well, I was going to put the entry into the database but it won't allow me. I can't edit the form. Any ideas why?

I cannot edit in the library with Chrome,,, when I edit I have to use FireFox,,,, Sometimes I can with Explorer,,, but I stick with Firefox.
Open Firefox as a browser & try loading it.

When I have to edit anything in the library with Chrome,, I get an empty box, that won't change or allow editing,,,,, I go to Firefox & the boxes are full with info,, as they should be.

Have you tried turning off the "popup blocker" in Chrome? If you don't care where you are, you are not lost.

I think that you need to ask for access to edit the library, unless you already have a password.
And I agree that before and after pics are the way to goBread and water can so easily become tea and toast

I'll try the form in a different browser once I've finished the restore. I can then upload before and after photos. Watch this space...
