    Default Pictures being uploaded sideways

My pictures have been uploading sideways and I'd prefer them to be right way up. I even tried rotating the photo in my pictures app and then re-uploading. No success. 2 what should I do.

When you shot the picture, such as the one in post # 1, ,,,you tilted/repositioned the camera to get the lenght/vertical shot you wanted. I have done this in the past & with certain cameras , the photos load in the above manner. So I always hold the camera in the "normal" (could not think of the proper term) & crop the photo before I load it.

Not sure I I explained it clear for you.

I'm picking up what you're putting down brother.

I can't take intensely positioned photos and upload them. I'll see what I can do later, maybe take a new one.

Looks like your camera upload defaults to landscape (horizontal). With either, in the phone (internal app) or and external editing program/app turn image and set to portrait/vertical.

Are you posting from your phone?
If so you have to take the photos in landscape with the button on the right.
You can do more if posting from a PC.

Thank you I'll try messing around with some things on my end to see if I can fix the problem.

Posting from my phone yes. On my phone the photos are portrait but when they get uploaded it turns then landscape for some reason. Made my shave of the day post look silly.

Scott, just take your pics with your phone turned sideways, like Ed said. I have the same problem and this should fix it.

Sweet, I'll take a pic landscape and upload it. It would be an easy fix for my problem. Thanks Andrew.
