They all look like they will clean up and made useable. The sheaf works may lose some steel at the edge. Some scales may need replacing.

The bottom one has a thicker grind and so less likely to break by stupid mistakes. IF you choose to use any kind of power tool such as a Dremel, be hyper careful about the direction of the rotation of the wheel to make sure that the rotation is in the direction of the spine to the edge. Going in the opposite direction can be catastrophic--for you and the blade.

Actually though, I would highly recommend that you stay away from power tools for your first restorations. You can accomplish a lot with a variety of wet/dry sandpapers and light oil.

Will do .then comes sorting the scales out.On the crown & sword scales ,the scale that hasn't got the emblem on has broken off at the swivel end of the blade.as on one of the other blades that was good I thought about replacing the broken one with that .them attempting to make new scales for that blade if you get my meaning?
