removal of the classifieds restrictions

I started a thread a few months ago about the fact that there were something like 10 great low priced razors for sale in the Classifieds that would be ideal for beginners. I think only one of them sold within the next week. That gave me the impression that there was a shortage of buyers at least as much as a shortage of sellers.

I don't mean any of my comments as a criticism and I have no alternative solutions to offer. I would like to see the Classifieds used more, particularly for beginners.

The rules of the past were created to prevent anything that 'might' happen, and as a result pretty much nothing happened at all anymore. Hey Bruno -- thanks for the hard work, consider me pleased. Seems to be a little damned if you do and damned if you don't happening....that's to be expected, I guess. Actually, this should be interesting and I may put my foot back in the waters again.

I think it will go good IF one of the mods keep an eye out. Perhaps it will be 'self policed' by everyone.

Would it be encouraged to report activity which is suspicious?

I gave up on selling on Ebay a while back. Some buyers were nothing but problems and the fees were out of hand.
I shall give it a go myself.

I , for one, can put your mind at ease here. I check the classifieds daily and move sold ads over and check on the new ads that go in. I have parked many ads, you guys don't see the parked ads, and sent many PMs to the poster. lots of people don't like it when they get PMs from me. This IS policing the classifieds and that won't change.

As always, any help you guys can provide is appreciated and you can always PM myself or any other MOD with a concern to an ad or any other questions.

I also said I would Not buy from the classifieds here when I joined, Now I'll take that back because of the reasonable rule change. Thanks Bruno, by the way, I have found some of that handle material we talked about, you pay what I pay, I make Zero profit, I like it that way., members helping members. :)
