Sounds like your computer might have a epic cartilaginous viral implant which pops out pics quicker than you can say Jack Robinson.
Did you burn your pics to a disk?
The camera should have come with a cord that plugs into a USB port on your computer.
Plug it in and the computer should recognize the camera.
If you can get that far come back and some one will help you on the next leg."Call me Ishmael"

Ok, I understand these things can be frustrating, just remember everyone here is trying to help you. The first thing we need to figure out is whether this is "user error" from you just not knowing yet the right thing to do, or if it's hardware failure from your computer or camera not doing the right thing when you connect it.
The first thing I/we need to know is what kind of computer operating system you're using: is it Windows, Mac, or Linux?
Secondly, if your computer is really not recognizing your camera, the most likely cause is that you haven't completely installed the right drivers - the computer may have automatically downloaded them the first time you connected your camera, but may have gotten hung up on the installation. Turn your computer completely off and then completely on again. While it's doing this you may as well rule out hardware error from your camera's side by completely rebooting it as well. Turn the camera off, take the battery out for about 15seconds, then put the battery back in. Wait till your computer is completely back on and signed into your workspace if there is more than one user profile. (We also need to make sure you have Administration authorization to install drivers/programs, but we'll leave that till later if this doesn't work). Once your computer is completely back on and you're logged in, connect your USB or FireWire cord and only then turn your camera back on. If our reboot let your drivers finish installing you should get a pop up window asking whether you want to download the pictures, see them in a folder in the camera, etc.
if this doesn't pop up and you don't see a little pop up on your right lower corner (if on Windows) that the computer recognizes something was plugged in but is looking for the correct drivers automatically, then you are going to have to find the drivers manually.
The easiest way to do this is if you still have the driver cd or USB stick that came with your camera. If you don't, let me know on here and I'll help you find the right drivers manually online and install them.Shaved by Grace

Thanked: 3215Yup, getting old hardware and software to work can be challenging.
Hands on is always a better option.
Bet those whipper snapper, family tech support, have bunches of "Old Phones", but way newer than yours laying around...
Have a Happy Easter.

Thanked: 1184Check the format your pics are in . Jpeg, bmp, la tee da. what ever. make sure they match what is allowed in PB. If not open them in paint or what ever you have and save as something that will go :<0)
Size has something to do with it sometimes also.Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.
