Honestly Ron, I can't imagine why you'd only have 100 unless it is some sort of glitch. Nothing personal I assure you. Perhaps gugi would take a look and fix it whatever it is.

Just to confirm, this is the message I have in my inbox...

Inbox contains 98 messages. You have 98 messages stored, of a total 100 allowed.

I have a lot of goodies in those messages so I when I go over the limit I have to decide which to trash. Of course, eventually I will get around to cutting and pasting some of that wisdom, or amusement, or blackmail fodder into a Word document.

I forget how it is, but amongst the options for messages is storing some in another folder. Whether they count as the total once they are separated I don't know. But seriously, send a PM to gugi and he can probably easily fix this to give you the proper number of messages due to you.

Yes, I went through that on another forum. Wish I'd have thought about copy/paste.

I'll take a look. It doesn't make sense that you have 100 allowed when the group setting is higher.

Now it should be more. You were still in the 'restricted users' group from back in the day. That group is like the normal users group, but you don't get automatic classifieds access or conversation forum access. I've switched you back to registered users.

    I'm normal now?
    That's a first!

Thanks for the upgrade. Now I won't keep getting those "someone just tried to send you a PM but you are over your limit" emails for a while.

Even if you do, there's an option for download all of your PMs as different types of files for easy backup so you can delete to make room for more. Congrats on finally talking Bruno to let you out of the restricted group

Go to your inbox http://straightrazorpalace.com/private.php?folderid=0 , select the messages you want to backup (there is a box you can check to select all messages in the current folder) and then scroll to the bottom where there's a "selected messages" dropdown menu. There, you can select how you want to download them and then click a 'proceed' button
