    Default Editor Box Problems

    Hey Guys,
If you are having issues with the editor box when posting or during PM's; then list them here please.
This makes it easier for the Administration to look into it.

    Thank you ,,,,,,

John, if you're referring to what I call the 'text box', where you type stuff in, or the edit function, when you want to change or add to something you typed, I am good on both counts as of a few minutes ago. Just FYI.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Sharptonn is having issues with the "Remove Format" button I believe. I've asked him to post in detail here.

    OTAY!
I Love that 1st buttom to the left....
    Remove editor.
As I USED to use it, what I selected and text type, size, color, text, would appear as I typed. Also, selected pics would show.
    It no longer works....
AND I can no longer use it to copy pics from a previous post and paste into my later post. NOBUENO
Was a wonderful tool....Not working anymore?

Hopefully Bruno can look at it later today. I have no idea how to fix your editor problem.

If you refer to the wysiwyg editor (what you see is what you get) I disabled that on purpose because it was causing issues for anyone using it to post pictures, as well as for other actions that some of the staff are using.

Since I cannot fix that editor nor do I know what caused this behavior (not for certain) my only 2 options were to keep it alive and be bombarded with people having issues that I can't solve, or disable it and have people us the standard editor

AFAIK in a PM it has always been from a URL only. At least as long as I have been around SRP.

The easiest I have found to add images in a PM is to use postimage. Upload your image and then use the 'direct link' url. In your PM or Forum Text box click on the 'insert image' Name: screenshot_124.jpg
Views: 95
Size: 8.6 KB icon and paste the direct link into it. Voila. Your pic will show in your PM or even forum post.
