    Splitting into hones and honing might not have been a perfect solution, but there are times when there is an unusual amount of buzz around certain honing methods or around certain hones, and this separation helps keep the other subject from getting lost in new posts in the respective forums. I agree with Randy that there's a clear enough difference, but it did look cleaner and simpler when they were combined.
