Donations, giveaways, need to be presented to Mods/Admins for approval. Nice idea though.
From the SRP rules of conduct ;
Initiatives (giveaways, contests, group buys, etc.) policy
All initiatives such as giveaways, contests, group buys, etc. are either organized by SRP staff or in cooperation with SRP staff. They can only be conducted according to the rules and decisions of SRP staff. This does not apply to individual instances such as giving away a razor or a brush, or other minor items.
This policy has been put in place to avoid legal and other consequences for SRP. First and foremost, SRP staff need to take into consideration about what is best for the SRP community and for the SRP's reputation.
If a group buy goes sour and someone takes off with the money, we are left with the aftermath.
If someone were to run a high stakes contest with himself as the sole judge, it has the potential to tear this community apart.
If someone were to organize an activity that involves valuable items with a dodgy ownership status, or which would involve taxes, or which would violate gaming laws, we would be the ones answering questions from men with suits.
As soon as anything needs organizing or becomes more valuable, it needs the written approval of SRP staff. If you intend to run such an initiative contact a Moderator via PM or email.[2]Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Let me bring this thread to the Mod/Admin team and let them kick the idea around. None of us (mods) have the authority to sign off on it AFAIK. I'll bring it up and it may take a day or two for them to come to some sort of conclusion. Not everyone is in the same time zone and what with jobs, families, shaving, they don't always get right on everything.
Edit, I was typing while Bill was posting above, so we'll see what Lynn/Don say.Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Super idea Dan and I think that that is a wonderful idea and yes I will do it if the admin approves it. Don/Lynn could send me the gift certificates and I could use them to buy some pretty cool razors. I am not sure how they do the certs. Do they mail them or do they send you the cert via email and you just cash it in on the SRD site. If they sent them to the purchaser via email then the purchaser could email them to me and I could use them for a purchase.
Billif anything has been abnormal for a long enough period it then becomes normal.
