Ahhh, i see. Guess that could be Richard. Was wondering why it was down for hours. I still dont know what the difference is but its not like it really maters to me. Not like i post my c.c. #'s on the forum. But if it makes people feel safer...

Actually the downtime was due to a different issue, but since it ended up being fairly long we used the time we were forced to wait for figuring out other things.

For example, we were able to switch last night to encrypted connections without any interruption.

Now the connection between you and the site is encrypted and this is all there is to it.
Basically, in the past if someone could intercept your internet traffic between you and SRP they could see everything that's being transmitted. Now even if they do, what they'd get is encrypted and very hard to decrypt. Of course, once it is on SRP anything you've transmitted is as protected as it's always been (actually it's protected better then ever).

Odd, I did not have to sign in until this AM. All works well.
