Default Where Are All The Old Threads in Aftershaves/Soaps and Creams?

Is it just me? I can only see a short page of threads in either Aftershaves or Soaps and Creams. Why is that; seems like it didn't used to be that way.

I ask because those two items are of high interest to me, and I enjoy reviews and discussion. Any Mods know why?

    TIA-Aaron

There's also a filter at the bottom of the page where you can have older threads displayed. In some of the lesser used parts of SRP you might not get a lot of threads displayed if you have the filter set for less than two months.

Thanks-I did both of those things, and they're all back; now I feel dumb.

There is also a way to set the default for the entire forum. I'll try to quote myself now, from another thread, for the sake of efficiency .

Towards the top right corner of any page, click on "Settings", between "Notifications" & "Log Out".
    Wait for page to load.
On the left side, scroll down, most of the way down the various navigation bars.
    Click on "General Settings".
    Wait for page to load.
Roughly half way down the page, under the section titled "Thread Display Options". Therein lies the answer.
It is called "Default Thread Age Cut Off"

Enjoy your newfound rabbit hole, where you will get lost in reading random threads organized by "Last post", rather than searching for something specific.

    I hope this helps!

A lot of us are computer illiterate, and this may explain why we choose to scrape whiskers off of our face with nothing more than a single piece of unforgiving steel.

I know in not a computer guy so I dont mess with settings. Guess this si why I dont have this issue. Glad I dont play in places I dont know. I might miss out on things but at least I know I did screw it up. Wish I understood half of this stuff on the computer but I manage.

    Thanks for the instructions!

Believe it or not, I am considered one of the more "techy" people in a very high-tech work environment: early adopter and experimenter/user of the latest education platforms, online learning, ipad apps, etc.

But as a very right-brained type, I've never been good at figuring out the underlying architecture/structure of programs, and that's where real tech. knowledge comes from!
