Thread: Loss of Content

I've been sifting through some of the older threads lately and I've found a thread that was linked in the Workshop sticky that still exists but is obviously missing the majority of its useful content.

I used Tapatalk a little while ago, which yielded different results than Firefox. The content is still MIA but I believe that it may be due to loss of hosted images.

Yep, I went back to the computer and fired up Chrome which resulted in dead links from Photobucket. It's a shame but at least I figured out why.

Photobucket changed their policies in the last couple of months and now charge for hosting linked images - they quoted me $299/month! I moved all my photos to ImageShack for $18/year and have been fixing my broken links as I find them. PITA.

Maybe I should reach out to celticcrusader, the OP, and see if he is willing to go through the hassle of fixing/replicating his original efforts. At least it's a member that I know is still active!

Not a bad idea, he posts a lot of good stuff.

Thanks anyway, Hirlau! I appreciate the attention but it looks like we worked it out on our own. Now to go bother celticcrusader and see if I can persuade him to replicate his earlier efforts...
