Thank you!
Thanks to Gugi and all the others behind the curtain that got SRP back up and running. I spent some time yesterday looking for anothor forum to hang out on and found a few but nothing that was really dedicated to SR as SRP is. Of course there is the workshop that Glen and Bruno started and its a fine forum but not a lot of activity. Not there fault for sure.
I love all the good folks we have here ar SRP. People have went way beyond the norm to help me in this hobby and ive tried to help others. If its mailing something for a loan to try out or just giving samples away to try. This type of help and good spirit and trust is just not found much in this day and age.
So thanks to all the mods and great members here i call my friends. Your the best a man could ask for!
It's just Sharpening, right?

I want to join in thanking so many people who have stepped up to help smooth these bumps.
As you may have noticed various little problems are being found and fixed - a lot of work happening behind the scenes and all the credit goes to those anonymous guys.
The most important thing is that we have shown to be one community that works together through whatever challenges we face and I'm proud to be a part of it

"WARNING, warning! Geek talk..."
A quick look at WHOis.com shows a Name Server change and two different Domain Names 'StraightRazorPlace.com' changed too 'StraightRazorPalace.com'. It takes a day for the changes/pointers to propagate across the DNS servers.
My link worked yesterday but today it was broke. Having seen a notice (sorry don't remember where/by who now) knew something was up. I've created, maintained, hosted websites as a hobby. There are so many moving parts in so many places to keep up with and this site is massive with tons of content.
Great job on maintaining this puppy. Thank you.
Of all my Bookmarked websites this is my favorite. I have never been disappointed coming here. it is like the only safe beacon out here.
Sorry I had to swing on the meat for a second there. I'm done. Har...Shave the Lather...

All considered; we as site users have gotten off lightly! I have been looking for information lost during other site melt downs and...it is 99and44/100% impossible to find after the plug is pulled.
THANKS TO ALL THAT ARE AIDING THE RE-DEVELOPMENT OF THIS FORUM!

Thanked: 133Really happy this site is back up. Other forums are nice but not as much focus on SR as it is here
Just need to make sure right address pops up now when I type in "s" haha
But very impressive everything is running as good as it is now

I know I’m glad that this site is back up and running, there are so many good people here and so much information and advice that answers pretty much any question you can have about shaving. We are all part of the only forum dedicated to straight razors. I’m also happy to see that there wasn’t any content loss that I have seen. Thank you to all for your hard work, thank you all for doing your best to help others learn more about our art.
