Locating an old thread I started
Sometime about a year ago, (Well 8 to 12 months ago) I posted an SSA razor restore that I did. One of my first. I'd like to find this thread so I can make note of what wood I used for the scales so I can put it in my log. I'm not finding anything in the search of Google even when I add the extra "A" as that seems to work most the time. And I cant locate it in the forum search either.
Can someone that know these cup holders, I mean computers and forum stuff help me to locate it? I've only been a member for 14 or 15 months so it's not like its years ago.
Help me if you can and explain how you found it. Thanks.
And if you are having the same issue as me, then maybe you will know what wood this is? I'm 99% sure its a C.A. finish.
But that would be cheating. Ha. I'd like to find the thread. It's just Sharpening, right?

I know what you mean trying to find an old thread. Glen fixed a Joseph Rodgers & Sons frameback for me a while back and I was wanting to locate it to show someone some of Glen's work. Come to find out a lot of the post I made were gone,,,,,,,,,,,,
BTW, that wood looks a little like Bocote."If You Knew Half of What I Forgot You Would Be An Idiot" - by DoughBoy68

I just typed Gasman SSA in the google custom search at the top right of the page and one of the links there seemed promising:
This is the post itself:
And on the previous page was the post with the scales:

Lord, if it's in that thread, it is buried! What does the SSA do?
Brings to mind the usage of tags, recently discovered by myself.
Gugi can explain.

Tags are not something i know about Tom. Im terrible when it comes to this computer stuff. Now if i can put a key in it and shoot some fuel in it and get compression, im good to go. Ive looked in my computer box. Nothing moves. Ha.

Most simple way I use to follow threads I started is to:
Go to your name on the sign in bar; tap your name
Look for started threads in the box on the left
Tap that and you have a listing of all the threads you started.
YMMV but it works for me.
