Multiple quotes
I know that it's possible, but I can't figure out how to do it:
How do you insert multiple quotations (from different posts) into a single post?"If you come up to it, and you just can't do it, then that's jolly well where you are."

Click the quotation+ icon in the far right corner of all of the posts that you want to quote, then hit the reply to thread.

Thanked: 603Several Observations
I have several observations about "multi-quotes":
- There appears to be a limit of five (5). That is, if you activate the "multi-quote" icon on five messages, then attempt to do the same for a sixth, two things happen:
- your "still-fetal" message "miscarries" -- as if you had selected "Reply With Quote" mode; and
- you are unable to add more quotes.
- If you activate the "multi-quote" icon on one-or-more messages, but move to another message without deactivating the "multi-quote" icons, if you then "Reply With Quote" to a new message, vBulletin attempts to include those "multi-quotes" in the new reply! (but never succeeds -- it just "spins its wheels" and no reply is ever generated)
Takeaways:
- Regarding #1, thanks to the more-than-five SRP members who wished me "Happy Birthday" -- I couldn't include everyone's words in a more-fitting reply, so please accept this one.
- Regarding #2, cover your tracks!
You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.
