Stopped receiving email notifications on new posts
I'm sorry for this thread gentlemen, but for some reason I stopped receiving email updates and notifications on posts relevant to my account-me pretty much since the site changed name. But I do receive updates on advances honing topics, so, I'm not sure what's going on. And email is my preferred method of communicating, so, I mind about that.
I did not "blacklist" the SRP on my email settings, and on my account here it says all is well, but apparently isn't. And I've spend two hours searching everything in case I did something wrong, so is there something that can be done?
Any suggestions/help/admin-stuff-administrators do, I'm open to suggestions to fix it as I love the site. I'm also not an amateur on settings, so, no silly suggestions please.
Thank you gentlemen,
Vasilis

The problem is with Microsoft blocking the emails from our servers because they think they're spam. I'll fill out a request for them to stop doing that, but it'll likely take days before a human being will review it. Thanks for letting us know!
Unfortunately spam continues to be a problem and different email providers handle that differently; for example Google and Yahoo seem to be vastly better than Microsoft at it.

Is there a chance or me to add to the "rules" the "reply to thread sthg" or "SRP" or something in the "add to inbox" category, or it still won't work? By the way, I clicked the link, didn't receive a notification, and it's somewhat annoying' not blaming you or the site/or anyone from the site, obviously! If there is a way I can help, I'm all... eyes.
By the way, I don't mind waiting, as long as this is solved. And, I'm using a hotmail account, so, yes, Microsoft.Last edited by Vasilis; 04-20-2019 at 10:01 PM.

Great news - they just replied back that they've reviewed the case and have unblocked our servers. The log files on our end show that they are now accepting the emails again so the next time the forum sends you a notification you should get it.
Unfortunately, this wasn't something that could be changed by us, only Microsoft. They didn't sort out your email as spam so that you could recategorize it but rather refused to accept it at all. Now it may still get labeled as spam and sorted in your spam or junk box in which case make sure to mark it as not spam.
I'm glad they fixed it quickly, though. I encountered the same problem several years ago when a small retail business couldn't get anyone from their several IT contractors to fix it. After I intervened it took Microsoft about 10 days to get through the escalation process and be resolved.
Please, let me know if there are any further issues.

It now works, I've received it in the "junk" folder, un-"spammed" it, and it works, thank you very much!
