Thread: Thank you Max!

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to post my appreciation for Max aka Maximilian! Max became moderator not long after he joined the forum and for over decade has been instrumental to helping our community grow not just in quantity but in quality! I personally have always looked for his wisdom within his gentle demeanor.
I don't know who amongst us is capable of sustaining such commitment on top of which he has been running the beloved SOTD (Shave of the Day) without interruption. To use the words of Herodotus "neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night" could stay Max and as far as I know he's never worked for neither USPS nor the Persian courier service

Of course, he's also one of the most talented razor makers and his eye for beauty and design is second to none.

While we have been fortunate to benefit so much from his many talents, his personal life has been getting busier and more demanding and Max has decided he needs to step down from his moderator role and running the SOTD. We would, of course, continue to enjoy his presence here as he is able to stop by and I do hope this is a short season.
On this note Pete aka petercp4e is going to take over the SOTD.

I want to say 'Thanks' to Max for everything he has done and for being a good friend and role model.

Pretty much says it all but the herd's gonna miss you Max

First let me say that I was honored and humbled to be asked to take over for Max.

HUGE shoes to fill indeed.

I will do my very best to follow in Max's footsteps and maintain his professionalism in doing the job.
