Thread: Viewing/liking Featured SOTD

Starting to wonder if it's not on a timer or something.
Might be Max had it set to put his Sunday post on x amount of hours from when he did it.
That way he did not need to worry with it late Saturday night?

Oh well. Not a big deal. It comes around after a while, so far!

So Djoe's Featured SOTD was put up at 12:03 to-day, forum time.
So far I am unable to open it and give it a like. Trying on occasion. No dice.
I will try to hang in and report when I can.

I have looked several times and see nothing on my end that looks as if it's related to likes.

Maybe one of you should PM Max about this. He might have been doing something elsewhere, only accessible to Moderators, while he posted sotd that he forgot to undo.

I haven't had any problems giving likes.

I usually go from the cover page to the forum page, scroll down to SOTD, pick out the pictures and give likes. Probably not what you guys do.

OH! That is working fine on SOTD. It's the feature on the front page we are speaking of.

I don't even see a like when I go to fsotd on the front page.

I will wait for instructions from above if it's anything I have to do on my end.

You have to click on the date of a particular feature to see it open and expand.
Then, you can like it and see other likes.
To see what I mean, click on the underlined 'Featured shave of the day'.
You will get present and past in order. Click on the date of any particular feature there and it expands and likes given and the opportunity to like will appear. Then click your browser back arrow and you will be back to the list again.

At present, It does not let you open Djoe's, but you can go and open Evnpar's and all past Featured SOTD's below.

It's likely something few knew about, but is a great way to go back and view all the features and give likes which notify the poster that someone liked their Feature.

Perhaps if the word got out and/or the buttons were renamed as in 'Past Featured SOTD's' instead of underlined 'Featured SOTD' it would get used more and promote the thing better?

This is weird.
I was looking late last night (on my tablet) and did exactly what you said
Clicked on FSOTD on the front page....
Clicked on the date of Djoe's post....
Gave him a like.

I do 99.9% of everything on my tablet or phone.

On my phone now and just did the same thing...

Saw the like I gave is still there.

I'm kinda at a loss now.
