The friendly way this site is run.
Recent changes have rendered this site a most friendly and relaxed place to go to.
As a result, new members are popping-in and staying around.
I appreciate the 'hands-off' attitude of the moderators and management. Letting guys discuss and learn anywhere on the forum.
The result is virtually no friction and a smooth running forum.
It has not always been this way. We do have some hard-core rules which are not so necessary and are not strictly enforced as in the past.
I say this as I have been frequenting another forum geared toward another of my interests which has seemingly recently changed hands.
Mostly old retired dudes, it seems a few mods have nothing to do except read and enforce petty things. Power-trip!
I have been recently been admonished for -chit chat in the BST there when discussions have yielded much knowledge on an item wanted to buy or sell.
Some of the old guys involved have been there from the inception. Wonder if they got admonished? OH! I was docked 10 points!
Anyway, it made me realize what a great forum we have here. Thanks to Gugi and all the Mods!

Seems The mod (Whose forum name is 'Miller Time'?) missed the lengthy discussions. Thank goodness!
My offending 'chit-chat' post was under a rare item for sale.
It consisted of.....Wait for it!......."Very Nice"!
Awful. Just terribly rude of me! Naturally, it was removed.
