Thread: editing posts?

how do I edit a post ? I cant seem to find the edit button?

I think the edit button only remains for a few hours after a post is made. It allows you to go back and fix a typo etc... but is not set up to go back more than a day later to delete or change a comment.


While it is handy to be able to edit mistakes it seemed to be an issue in a few threads that got out of hand and where people went in, changed their original comments that started the fight and claimed innocence later .

Tony is correct... the system is currently configured to allow you to make edits to your post for 24-hours, after that the post is locked. If you have an unusual need for a specific post, contact an admin and they may be able to help.
