Congratulations Dave! But what does a moderator actually do? How much do you get paid? What kind of perks came with the job? Do you get paid vacation and 401K?

I get all the perks you mentioned plus the pay is almost enough to cancel my SSN benefits. I took a pay cut to avoid that.

Actually, we paid for the privilege (1% per year to the devil.) Vacation is supplied - a timeshare in the Sahara Desert. We don't talk about the benefits of a 401K.

    Perks, har har.

I'll bet Ivan didn't tell you, when you become a mod you have to by each of the mods a Damascus Razor and a one year supply of soap.

I have a Bruno style copy but it is not Damascus.

I could give it to you and you could use a sharpie to make an interesting pattern...........

That's not even close to the Damascus knife-razors that I got everyone back in the days... It could be the reason some once prominent folks left
