    Default things have sure changed

for some reason the forum isn't the same for me. For example, white background and a totally different appearance. I didn't do anything on my end as far as i know. Was there a change? i want it back like it was. I might add that the bookmarks i have for the site don't take me here anymore.

This happened to me once also. If you look at the very bottom of the page you will see a drop down box which will normally be set to 'SRP Default'. Changing this setting will alter the sites appearance on your screen. Hope this helps.

I have not had this issue but checked out your suggestion and that made the difference.

It does look strange. Almost like my computer is in safe mode or something. I cannot get down to the drop down box?? If I make things smaller I can. Says SRP default.
    Was OK this morning.

Nevermind....It seems I WAS in safe mode!
    Rebooted and all is better!

That is a mode you get into on startup to do work where nothing can interfere. With or without networking. Makes the screen look very strange.

    It's some setting, I suppose.

Safe mode is a stripped down version of Windows where if you are having issues and windows won't start or run because of something corrupting it or some other issues you may be able to go into safe mode and diagnose and fix the problem. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. It's just another tool.
