    Default Calling all mods!

Chaps, I'm having trouble changing the front page for featured shave of the day. The latest post ive published wont show in the content section. Ive probably pressed a wrong button somewhere. Any help would be appreciated.

While you are at it, change Rezdog's Suredge to 'Shave of the Year!

The publishing date in the top right section is wrong and when i go to change it says I need to notify the administrator.

I also have periods of time when I can't access the site, I can go on other websites so I know it's not my internet.

Probably server issues. There are plenty of times when I can't access the site either. Sometimes it's hours and sometimes a day or more.

I hope all can be fixed and thank those who work on it!

I know the current format is somewhat antiquated, however members comfort with it is a consideration.

On another forum I frequent, owner sold out to the conglomerate up North and they brought V-B in overnight. Eventual strange moderation crept in. Lots of pics were lost it seems.
Most old timers were not comfortable with it and a few years later, most are gone. Like windows 7....What was wrong with THAT?

Hi Dave, I pick a post to promote to the front page as below:
    Name: Screenshot_20240609_141021_Chrome.jpg
Views: 69
Size: 20.9 KB

Then change the front page content:
    Name: Screenshot_20240609_141006_Chrome.jpg
Views: 69
Size: 26.6 KB

When I click on apply it just asks me to inform the administrator. I think it's where I change the front page that it's gone wrong. If Gugi looks at the publishing times and dates it may help.

I've been looking at the performance issues, a couple of weeks ago there was a bad bot, today it's a lot of bot traffic again, but I haven't gotten to the bottom of it as of now.

Last year I disabled the CDN because someone had problems, just reenabled it, but I don't think that will be solving anything.

I'm not sure about the date issue either. I may have encountered it or something similar many years ago, but don't remember anything else. I haven't tried to replicate it yet, will try now
