Thanked: 9Test Site color scheme, not a fan
I've always (lol, for the past month at least) liked the clean blue and white color scheme of the SRP forums. Bright. Easy to see.
I'm not sure if that BST notification email from the SRP test site was supposed to go out, but I'm really hoping it wasn't a glimpse of things to come. Especially the dating classifieds. No offense, you guys are great, but that's not why I'm here. Mostly it was the color scheme that threw me off. I don't know if it's a preference or because I'm used to it, but dark writing on a lighter background has just usually seemed the way to go
.
Now if you show me some evidence saying white writing on a beige background reduces eye strain, I'm sure I'll convert. And if we have no say and the change comes about, I'm sure we'll all get used to it. So in the light of any (and especially my) protests likely not mattering, I guess I'm wondering what the reasoning behind the change would be.

Personally, I like the skin and will propose it to the admins as an addition to the skins that (until recently) were available to everyone... ie, the red, blue, green, and brown. Honestly, I don't know who/how any final decisions will be made... but I'm sure the admins know that one size doesn't fit all when it comes to the likes and dislikes of color schemes and coordination... if you're married, you're wife has certainly taught you that
