Thanked: 416Randy if you are subscribed to a forum then every post is sent directly to your email this includes unfortunately SPAM. We are looking into the situation the only way around it right now is to look at posts only on the board where the mods have a chance to kill the Spam first.

Seems to be a lot of it lately.

You're telling me!
It comes in one of two main forms - either porn spam or WoW/Laser/etc. spam. The first stuff is easily found and easily removed - excepting the ppl who are unfortunately subscribed to the spammed thread. The second stuff is just someone with too much time on their hand trying to jack up their Google rankings by posting links from SRP to their stie. Also easily dealt with.
Either way, they get smooshed as like the game "Whack-A-Mole", the mods here are darn quick to get to it...
So far, I've only had to lock one thread temporarily as it seemed to be a spam magnet for a few hours one night.

This is hilarious.
I just hammered a spammer, spamming this very thread with the exact same message that Randy posted in the initial post
But yeah, if you subscribe to a thread and someone posts spam, then you get the spam in your inbox.
There is nothing we can do about that.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.
