Thread: Spam Killers Alert

I didn't feel like starting a new thread for this, although it probably warrants one.

Thanks to all of you who keep the spam out. I mean this to those that report it as well as those who remove it and I assume lock the accounts. I saw some spam in a post that was about 30 minutes old and before I could even report it or anything else, it was already removed. I know that it takes a lot of time to keep it all out, and I must give you folks kodo's for keeping it clean here! You guys rock, please keep it up it is appreciated!

That's right!

Both are needed, so even though staff moves quickly don't assume someone else has reported it already. Kudos to the anti-spammers!

Haven't come across one of these in ages! You chaps have been doing a fine job keeping them out.

Thanks to hoglahoo for the spam report. That makes spamkill number 600 for me!

As always, the "Report Post" icon located below the poster's name is the best, fastest way to notify all moderators of the spam.

Do you know, that simply hadn't occurred to me. Thanks for the tip. I'll remember if I stumble across another, but they don't get through much these days.

No. Those sysadmin guys really do an excellent job keeping the spammers out. Between that and one of the other mods who shall remain nameless, it's hard to get any spamkills.
