    Default Sorting Classifieds

When you sort the classifieds by lowest and highest price, things that have "SOLD" appear in the perspective spots in the price sorting. I would think that if someone were trying to sort by price, they would be most interested in seeing things that have not yet sold, so they could buy something.

I'm almost tempted to say that things that have sold don't need to appear in anything other then chronological listing for reference, but I especially don't think they belong in lowest/highest price. Otherwise, it won't be long before you try to sort it and all you come up with is pages and pages of long-ago-sold items.

    Am I right?

I would think it would only require a small exception statement in the php query.

I believe things would be simpler if all sold items appeared after the still available items. As it is currently sorted by default it is possible for a razor listed for a while to get lost on the last page surrounded by sold items.

Previously in the SRP chat, when a mod was asking us about reorganizing the BST, there was a suggestion that sold items could be moved to a different area entirely. Now that the classifieds are divided by item type, that might be more complicated. Perhaps an area for sold items that could be divided by item type as well?

Maybe a separate area for WTB's? these usually take longer to fill and get pushed to the back rather quickly.
