Added Alum information
I did a quick article on styptic pencils and alum, and I also redirected Alum block to the alum article and added the articles to the relevant categories!

Yeah, the fun thing is that I have yet to try using an alum block, so I'll probably tweak the articles more after I get some more personal experience (and not just textbook knowledge of the top of my head. )

Thanked: 278You could add a comment that rubbing your fingers over the alum block makes it easier to grip, e.g. to stretch skin.

Since I don't know really how to explain that why don't you do it yourself? Just log in with your SRP login and click the edit button on top.

Yeah, I know, you need to join 5 or more wiki's before your eyes start to gravitate there by themselves...

Thanked: 1903Two things:
1. Are you absolutely sure that Image:Stypticpencil.jpg - Straight Razor Place Wiki is not a copyrighted image?
2. Please to not create manual redirects that include categories. If you do that, both articles will show up on the front page.
I am not sure what everybody else thinks, but I would also prefer to keep categories down to one. I know that Wikipedia's policy is slightly different, but I do not think we will see hundreds of pages in the forseeable future. That's why we decided to have the categories and pages contained therein automatically displayed on the front page.
Just my thoughts. What do you think?
