New article from ways to hold a straight razor
Hello Gents
I just finished a new article from the ways to hold a straight razor
Do not take it too seriously. It is meant to give a start to find your best way to do your shaving.
If somebody feels that he has more grips to share please feel free to contact me or add it by yourself.
Thanks to The Dude for the spelling corrections and adding grips 9 and 10 in the list.
Another thanks to BeBerlin to checking the alignment and tips for the forthcoming writings.

That'll be another useful place to point the new guys to. Some useful variations for me too! Very clear. I like the suggestions for the uses of each stroke.

Nice! Maybe Blade Wielder will get his holding-a-pencil (?) grip into there as well!

I don't know how to write a re-direct into the Wiki, but should we have the search term "grip" re-direct to this page?Keep your pivot dry!

Thanked: 278Looking at grip 1 just now, I realised I don't normally use my little finger at all. While I was experimenting I noticed I can put my little finger on the side of the scales, as in the picture below. This fixes the angle of the blade. Not sure if this is worth doing, but I'll give it a try next shave.
