Posting photos
I've tried posting a few images in some posts, and they don't show up. But if you right click the photo, and choose show in new window, or tab they then show up fine. Solution to my problem?

Thanked: 278Are you storing the photos online or using the attachment method?
Does F5 (Refresh) help?
Maybe with attachments the website needs time to "catch up" before it can show the images.
Just doing a test now:
This image is stored online:
This is uploaded as an attachment:

I'm using photobucket to upload the photos, but my photos don't appear, it shows there's supposed to be a photos, but it doesn't display it, it's a small blue triangle.

Above the box where you type in your post there are some buttons. Click on the paperclip button and you will be able to upload your picture from your harddrive. One hint is to size your picture no more than about 6" wide so it is not larger than the page. There is a limit also in size [Megabytes].

If you scroll down below your post box you will find menus. First 'miscellaneous options' then below that Attach files & 'manage attachments'. That is the one you want. Forget photobucket unless you are including a photo in a PM.
in a post just go to manage attachments and click on that. It is self explanatory from there.Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 171When you attach photos this way, is it possible to have them show up in different places within the text of your post? When I had tried attaching some, and viewed the post preview, it showed my text as normal plain text, and at the bottom of the post was the built in links only for each attached photo, in an "attachments" section. The photos themselves would not have been shown unless the links for the photo were clicked. At least that's the way the preview made it seem?

I don't think that it is possible. To have the photos appear with text above and below if using 'manage attachments', The only way I know to do it is to upload to a site such as photobucket and insert the link between the text.
The drawback to that is that if the photos are deleted from the storage site at a later date they will disappear from the post as well.Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 41I also use photo bucket because my images are at home and I am not most of the time. With photo bucket you need to make sure that you copy and paste the entire photo location. This sometimes isn't easy. After you click on link options bellow the image, you are taken to the white box highlight IMG for bulletin boards & forums and check the box. I then slide my cursor over the location numbers. a copied sign appears, I also hit copy in the edit drop down. Then go to your post and place the cursor where you want the image rt click mouse and hit paste. The image should appear there. To see it before submitting hit preview. Oh ya don't move the image in photo bucket cause then all is lost.

Thanked: 171Hope you guys don't mind if I try this attachment:
Wanting to see if I can upload and insert according to Rajagra's instructions.
EDIT: Ahh, yes, it works. Doesn't show up in preview (just shows the text of the filename) but appears to work once you finally post.
